Most people don't realize that
the local Chamber of Commerce
is one of the most trusted sources
of information in most communities.

From local people looking for a
reputable business, to search
engines digging into the Chamber
to deliver relevant information
to its users.

Sales Tip 21:
It is not how many
people you know
that equals success ...

Sales success is
in direct proportion
to how many people
know you and what you
do and can find you
when THEY are
ready to buy.

"The Rural Chamber of Commerce mandate is to make our Communities a better place to live and work by providing a
positive leadership role in our Communities and using Chamber and member resource
to promote our Member Businesses
while developing new Business growth for the community and interfacing with local and regional governmental agencies."
Together we can (and will) do better.

2012 has arrived and all indications are that it will be a better year,
however, it has not filtered down to the rural areas like ours, "yet".

We have a local food pantry in Rougemont. More information is
on the tab at the bottom on the left. Please feel free to contribute
with food - money - or volunteer.

This is a political year or a year of politics and the chamber will
be taking a in-depth look at individuals that have, and or will
support the needs of us living in rural areas like ours. Stay tuned.
We will be looking at races in both Person and Durham Counties.

Everyday, while you are working hard to win a
bigger piece of the economic pie (for you) ... we will be
working hard to make the whole pie bigger!

The Rural Area Chamber of Commerce supports the:

and would encourage you to support it anyway you can too.
This is community effort supported by the Rougemont Ruritan
Club, the ECA - the Village BP and many individuals who believe
we should take care of our own.

Chambers Rock!

Recently it was reported through a national study that when consumers know that a business is a member of the local chamber, they are 44% more likely to think favorably about that business. It further showed that consumers are 63% more likely to buy goods and services in the future from a company that they believe is a member of the local chamber of commerce.
